With this transaction, Stichting Cosis and Stichting Vanboeijen jointly acquire all employees, clients, assets, and liabilities of Stichting De Trans, a regional care provider active in Drenthe and Groningen. Both organizations are leading care providers in the north of the Netherlands, specializing in support and treatment for people with intellectual disabilities, mental health care, social support, and youth care.

The acquisition through a legal demerger secures the continuity of care, employment, and facilities for clients and staff in the region. This transaction is in line with the strategic objectives of both Cosis and Vanboeijen to provide sustainable and future-proof care facilities in the northern Netherlands.
