ZBI has bought a German-Dutch residential portfolio, consisting of approximately 4,000 units for the real estate fund AIF UniImmo: Wohnen ZBI. The portfolio consists of 26 properties in Germany and 8 in the Netherlands with a leased area of approximately 256,000 m2. This is the second largest residential portfolio transaction in Europe across multiple countries. This is a strategic transaction for ZBI whereby it will enter the Dutch housing market and realizes international expansion.

HVG Law, EY Tax and EY Strategy and Transactions have advised ZBI on the Dutch part of the portfolio and worked closely together with the German EY team, consisting amongst others of EY Law Germany and EY Tax.
