Macadamia Group and Swartberg merge to form the PrimeNut Group. By joining forces they strengthen their market position and become a leading player in the European market for peanuts and tree nuts. HVG Law assisted the shareholder of Swartberg in this transaction.

This transaction was complex, as it not only involved the sale of Swartberg, but also a reinvestment in the Waterland-backed PrimeNut Group. This group also includes Synergy Group and Katjang Pedis, and thus the reinvestment also partially involved the purchase of shares in those companies. We performed mutual due diligence on the companies and pragmatically reached workable agreements for all parties involved.
