On 9 Decem­ber 2020, the gov­ern­ment announced more amend­ments to the cur­rent eco­nom­ic sup­port and recov­ery pack­age.  Devel­op­ments in the fight against the COVID-19 vir­us mean that, accord­ing to the gov­ern­ment, expan­sions are neces­sary and that pre­vi­ously announced cuts will be par­tially reversed.
