Background

Zohra is a member of the expertise Corporate M&A. She advises on all corporate matters and specialises in private mergers & acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, management buyouts, management and employee participation plans, complex carve-outs, due diligence processes, and general corporate governance advice.

Expertise

In private equity Zohra has worked with various PE firms, including Avedon, Waterland Private Equity and Capital A.

In the past years, Zohra advised, among others, iDEAL on the sale of its shares by its shareholders to EPI, Circtec Ltd. on its landmark acquisition of Granuband and the development of a new facility in the Netherlands, and Spliethoff’s Bevrachtingskantoor on its acquisition of the shipping company ForestWave.

Additional information

Zohra graduated from the University of Groningen with a master’s degree in Private Law and a master’s degree in Company Law in 2018.

Prior to joining HVG Law in 2023, Zohra had practiced law with the Corporate M&A department of Orange Clover in Amsterdam for over four years. In 2024, Zohra was seconded by HVG Law to Donahue & Partners LLP in New York City, where she was involved in a range of cross-border transactions. Zohra is a member of the DE&I committee.
