(WHOA) Restructurings

Timely restructuring may prevent bankruptcy

Our services

How to turn the tide?

Bankruptcies can sometimes be prevented by timely restructuring. Out-of-court settlement, debt restructuring by means of a WHOA procedure (Dutch scheme) or by other means, refinancing, selling (part of) the company, pre-packs: all of these may be options to turn the tide. Our lawyers are also available to act as restructuring expert in a Dutch scheme of arrangement (WHOA procedure).

Close cooperation

Alternatively, companies can be discontinued and wound up in a formal liquidation procedure or by means of a WHOA liquidation composition, without a bankruptcy.

Such restructurings often involve a wide range of legal, financial, tax and operational issues in an international context and require close cooperation between all parties involved. We are used to dealing with such (international) restructurings quickly and efficiently.
