Capital requirements for banks

The Capital Requirements Directive (‘’CRD’’) and the Capital Requirements Regulation (‘’CRR’’) are the legal framework for the prudential supervision of credit institutions, investment firms and their parent companies in all Member States of the European Union and the EEA. Our recent work includes:

  • Assessment of the impact of the reorganization of a Dutch licensed bank on the continued use of waivers under CRR and on capital requirements,
  • Assessing the impact of the Banking Reform Package (CRD V /CRR II) on the reorganization of a Dutch licensed bank;
  • Describing the prudential reporting requirements applicable for a Dutch branch of a EU licensed bank.

"A holistic view and risk appetite are key essentials for successful implementations and changes."
