Examples are the issuance of shares (equity funding), by way of (bank) loans or convertible loans. If needed the required documentation can be prepared.
EYNovation and FinanceNavigator
Start-ups often require more than only legal advice. The Finance law team therefore regularly works together with EY to also address any such client’s needs. Members of the Finance law team are connected to ‘EYNovation’, an EY initiative that aims to support start-ups with various questions they might have. Next to that the Finance Law team is connected to FinanceNavigator, a tool developed by EY to enable entrepreneurs to more easily prepare a professional financial plan and detailed cash flow forecast. The team advises on the legal implications thereof and if required prepares finance agreements and other legal documentation.
