Greenchoice sells its shareholding in Green Energy Storage to Vopak. Green Energy Storage develops, realises and manages battery energy storage systems. The involvement of Vopak enables Green Energy Storage to take a next step in the realisation of its one-of-a-kind battery park in Oosterhout with a capacity of 200 MW and 800 MWh, of which Greenchoice shall offtake 50%. This collaboration aims to accelerate the rollout of battery energy storage systems in the Netherlands, reduce grid congestion and support the energy transition.
