Karel combines this advisory role with his work in the insolvency practice. This dual focus allows him to understand the dynamics of both the preparatory phase and the actual liquidation of a bankruptcy, enabling him to provide clients with effective and relevant legal advice.

In 2024, Karel completed his Bachelor of Laws and in 2025, his Master of Laws in Dutch Law, both at Maastricht University.

He also studied at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, where he specialized in European corporate law.
