Leila is a trusted advisor within the Corporate M&A practice group, where she guides (international) clients through (complex) corporate transactions. Her practice includes advising on business transfers, (private equity) investments, joint ventures, and growth capital deals, as well as drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and advising on corporate governance.
She has developed a particular focus on advising family-owned businesses on transactions and governance structures. Leila understands the delicate balance between personal and business interests in such settings and has successfully supported several family enterprises through ownership transitions and strategic decision-making processes.
Leila has built up experience across a broad range of sectors, including information technology, logistics, retail, high-tech manufacturing and (technical) maintenance services. She regularly advises both long-established market leaders and fast-growing companies, providing pragmatic and forward-looking legal guidance tailored to each client’s strategic objectives.
She is frequently engaged in international transactions, supporting clients from Europe, UK, and Asia with (cross-border) M&A, strategic restructuring initiatives, and global project coordination.

Leila obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law (2018) and her master’s degree in Corporate Law (2019) from the University of Amsterdam. During her master’s program, she specialized in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, and special agreements.
In addition to her academic background, Leila gained practical experience in private wealth and asset management and completed various corporate law internships, both in the Netherlands and abroad.
