Victor Kruit specialises in the field of corporate law, insolvency law and procedural law. Victor advises entrepreneurs on subjects such as directors’ and officers’ liability, suspension of payments, winding up, security, split up of a company into viable and nonviable units, liquidations and/or offering an out-of-court settlement. Additionally, he handles matters of a procedural legal nature such as preliminary relief proceedings, proceedings on the merits and levying pre-judgment attachments.
Victor graduated in Dutch law from the University of Utrecht in 2006, specialising in civil law and criminal law. After his studies Victor joined leasing company Terberg Leasing as a company lawyer. In 2007, Victor became a lawyer and successfully completed in 2013 the specialist course Insolvency Law of the Grotius Academy. In 2017 he successfully completed (cum laude) the specialist course Civil Procedural Law of the ‘Academie voor de Rechtspraktijk’. From 2013 onwards Victor is an active member of INSOLAD.
