Pieter Leopold joined HVG Law in 2017 and works in the Competition & Regulated markets and Energy & Utilities expertise.
Pieter has a strong focus on sector specific regulations, with an emphasis on the energy sector. He advises and litigates in the areas of competition law and energy law in a broad sense and has particular experience in conducting administrative proceedings before administrative bodies and proceedings with the Council of State and the Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal.
Pieter graduated with a degree in International and European Law from the University of Amsterdam in 2015. After graduation he worked with the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Market (ACM) for two years.
Pieter is a member of the Dutch Energy Law Association (NeVER) and is also a member of the Dutch Competition Law Association (VvM). He regularly publishes in the Dutch Journal for Energy law.
Within HVG Law, Pieter coordinates the pro bono activities and the collaboration with Pro Bono Connect.
