Background
Marita is a Candidate civil law notary practicing Corporate Law since 2015. As a manager, she is part of the expertise Corporate M&A.
Expertise
Marita has solid experience in a wide range of corporate (notarial) matters with a focus on M&A transactions and (multi-jurisdictional) corporate restructurings and reorganizations.
She assists (multi) national companies and advises on various corporate related topics, such as corporate maintenance, governance structures, directors’ duties and liabilities, setting up entities, structuring joint ventures, as well as implementing (cross-border) mergers, demergers, conversions and transfers of seat.
Additional information
Marita graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 2015. She has a master’s degree in Civil Notarial Law (LL.M) and a master’s degree in Tax Law (LL.M). In 2018, she completed the post academic notarial professional education of the Royal Dutch Association of Civil Law Notaries.
Prior to joining HVG Law, Marita worked within the Corporate M&A practice of DLA Piper in Amsterdam for approximately six years. During this period, she did a short-term secondment at DLA Piper’s New York office.
