A trans­ac­tion com­pleted with leg­al sup­port from HVG Law has been nom­in­ated as Best Mid-Cap Deal 2023 at the com­ing pres­ti­gi­ous Dutch M&A Awards: the acquis­i­tion of iDEAL and Pay­co­niq by European Pay­ments Ini­ti­at­ive (EPI).

HVG Law advised Cur­rence iDeal on the sale of pay­ment solu­tion iDEAL by ING, Rabobank and ABN Amro to European Pay­ments Ini­ti­at­ive. EPI is backed by BFCM, BNP Pari­bas, BPCE, Crédit Agri­cole, Deutsche Bank, DSGV, ING, KBC, La Banque Postale, Nexi, Société Générale, World­line, Belfi­us and DZ Bank. ABN Amro and Rabobank are also join­ing EPI.
